Desert Mirage is the expert end of the ladder, and it earns that with restraint rather than trickery. The scenes are sparse: sand, dunes, cacti, rocks and a wide sky. With so few objects, every change has to be subtle to stay interesting, which means small position shifts and size changes rather than objects appearing and disappearing. Sparse scenes are harder than busy ones once the changes get quiet.

What's in the scenes
Twelve desert scenes with a low horizon, a handful of cacti and rock formations, and long stretches of empty sand. The empty space is not padding — a cactus that moved two of its own widths to the left looks entirely normal until you compare it against the horizon behind it.
The difficulty curve across 12 levels
The pack opens at the top difficulty tier and stays there. What changes across the twelve levels is the mix: early levels lean on size, later levels lean almost entirely on position, which is the change type every player detects slowest.
Typical solve time: Two to three minutes throughout, and three stars here is a genuine achievement. Hints are worth saving for the final difference.
Best suited to: Experienced players who have cleared the other five packs and want puzzles that stay fair while being genuinely hard.
Solving tips for this pack
- Use the horizon as a ruler: measure objects against it rather than against each other.
- Look for gaps and spacing. In a sparse scene, spacing changes are more visible than objects.
- Compare shadows and bases where objects meet the sand — a moved object moves its base with it.
- Take a five second break before your third sweep; fresh fixations beat a tired stare every time.
