Reef Patrol moves the same five change types underwater, and the water is the difficulty. Fish, shells, coral fans and drifting bubbles overlap far more than forest props do, so an object can hide behind another object instead of standing alone against a clean background. That single structural change makes the pack feel a clear notch harder than the forest without adding a single extra difference.

What's in the scenes
Twelve reef scenes layered from the seabed upward: rocks and shells at the bottom, coral and seaweed in the middle band, fish and bubbles crossing the upper third. Overlap is deliberate. When a fish shifts position slightly, it often ends up partly behind coral, which is exactly the kind of change your eye refuses to notice on a first sweep.
The difficulty curve across 12 levels
The pack opens at four differences instead of three. Around level 6 the fish count rises sharply, and from level 9 the scenes use two similar fish in similar colours, so recoloured changes become genuinely subtle while staying well above the contrast floor every scene must pass.
Typical solve time: Expect around a minute for the first levels and up to two minutes for the last three. Reef scenes reward patience far more than speed.
Best suited to: Players who cleared Forest Warm-Up comfortably and want more clutter without a spike in unfairness.
Solving tips for this pack
- Work the layers separately: seabed first, then coral, then everything swimming.
- Compare fish by silhouette rather than colour; a resized fish keeps its colour and loses its outline match.
- Bubbles are used as decoration, not as differences, so do not burn time comparing them one by one.
- When two similar fish sit close together, check whether they swapped places rather than changed.
