freeinteract.com is operated from the Netherlands. For any privacy question or request, email hello@freeinteract.com.

You cannot register on this site and we never ask for your name, email address, date of birth or payment details in order to play. Every puzzle, the daily challenge, both game modes and the leaderboard work without an account.

Your game progress is kept in your own browser using local storage, not on our servers. That includes which puzzles you have solved, your best times, star results, your current daily streak and weekly streak freeze, the nickname you choose for the leaderboard, an anonymous player identifier generated at random, and small preferences such as whether you have already seen the how-to-play hint.

This data never leaves your device unless you submit a leaderboard score. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently, and we cannot restore it because we never had a copy.

Only leaderboard entries. When you choose to submit a score we store the puzzle, the solve time, the number of mistakes, the game mode, the nickname you typed and the anonymous identifier from your browser. Nicknames are public by design; the anonymous identifier is not publicly readable and exists only to prevent duplicate entries.

If you email us, we keep that email in order to answer it. Nothing else you do on the site is stored against you personally.

The site itself does not need cookies to function; game progress uses local storage instead. Cookies and similar identifiers are set by two third-party services described below: Google Analytics for audience measurement and Google AdSense for advertising.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so does not stop you playing, and puzzles will continue to work normally.

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which puzzles are played and which pages are confusing. It records information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device type and referring site. We do not use it to identify individuals and we do not combine it with leaderboard data.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your visits by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

This site is free to play because it carries advertising. We use Google AdSense, and Google is a third-party vendor that uses cookies to serve ads on this site.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on this site and may use cookies, web beacons or similar technologies to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalise the ads you see.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info, or youronlinechoices.eu if you are in Europe. Opting out means you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

Where consent is required for advertising and analytics cookies, it is requested through a consent message before those cookies are set, and your choice is remembered on your device. You can change or withdraw it at any time by clearing your cookies for this site and answering the message again.

Our legal basis for storing your game progress is that it is strictly necessary to provide the game you asked for; the legal basis for advertising and analytics cookies is your consent. You have the right to access, correct and erase personal data we hold, to object to processing, and to complain to your national data protection authority.

The puzzles are suitable for children, but the site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. There is no chat, no messaging and no user-generated content beyond a chosen nickname. If you believe a child has submitted identifying information as a nickname, email us and it will be removed.

Browser-stored progress remains until you clear it. Leaderboard entries are kept while the board exists, and are removed on request or if they are clearly invalid. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle the conversation.

To see, correct or delete anything we hold, or to have a leaderboard entry removed, email hello@freeinteract.com with the nickname you used. Requests are handled within 2 working days.

When this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. Material changes to what we collect will be announced on the site rather than made quietly.
